China's Huawei Technologies has done business in South Africa for more than 15 years and is currently one of the country’s main providers of telecommunications equipment. Placing great emphasis on localization, the company has more than 1,000 employees in South Africa, with over 60 percent being local. Recently, Christina Naidoo, the Chief Operating Officer of Huawei Technologies South Africa, spoke to ChinAfrica reporter Liu Jian on how Huawei trains local staff and transfers skills
