Alibaba-affiliate, Ant Financial, is seeking a larger market in Eastern European countries by promoting cashless payment.

The group will continue to promote cooperation amongst cash-free cities, according to Xu Hao, vice president of Ant Financial. Xu made the remarks at the 2017 China Investment Forum in the Czech capital, Prague, on July 19. He also introduced Ant Financial’s cash-free services around the globe.

Alipay, operated by Ant Financial, is now available to over 20,000 business owners in 13 European countries, including the Czech Republic, Xu disclosed.

Ant Financial will continue to offer payment services to Chinese tourists in the Czech Republic and local business owners in order to help them appreciate Chinese visitors.
