Some 384,272 passengers have travelled by Tunisair in July, compared to 313,092 a year ago, according to the statement.

In the first half of this year, Tunisair confirmed that it had achieved a growth of 14 percent with 1,537,574 passengers.

The Tunisian airline revenues gained 22.3 percent to reach 499 million dinars (204.6 million U.S. dollars), compared with 408.6 million dinars in 2016.

However, Tunisair's indebtedness remains a major concern for the national flag carrier, with a total of 1.05 billion dinars at the end of July, higher than 1.02 billion dinars a year ago.
