High-Level Dialogue Between the CPC and African Parties Opens in Tanzania
 Edited by Li Kaizhi ·2018-07-18

A two-day dialogue between the Communist Party of China (CPC) and some 40 political parties and organizations from nearly 40 African countries opened in Tanzania's commercial capital Dar es Salaam on July 17.

"Political parties from both China and Africa should be the promoter and practitioner of China-Africa cooperation. The CPC stands ready to work together with African political parties to promote the building of a community with a shared future for China and Africa," said Song Tao, Director of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.

He called for adherence to people-centered development, saying the CPC takes serving the people as its fundamental purpose, adamant at deepening reform and opening up in all respects.

Tanzanian President John Magufuli said that choosing Africa and Tanzania as the venue of the overseas debut of the CPC in Dialogue with World Political Parties High-Level Meeting shows that the CPC values Africa and signifies the profound friendship between Tanzania and China.

The CPC in Dialogue with World Political Parties held its first high-level meeting in Beijing in 2017, when more than 300 leaders of political parties and organizations from around the world gathered for deliberation on the building of a community with a shared future for mankind and a better world.
