As the theme of the First China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo “Win-Win Cooperation for Closer China-Africa Economic and Trade Partnership” suggests, the expo will serve as a new platform to promote trade between China and Africa. So far, all of the 53 African countries with diplomatic relations with China, as well as international organizations such as the African Union, United Nations Industrial Development Organization, World Trade Organization and World Food Program have confirmed to be present at the expo.

In addition, six African countries have been invited to attend the expo as the guests of honor. They are Uganda, Egypt, Tanzania, Senegal, Angola and Cote d'Ivoire. ChinAfrica presents a selection of photos related to each of the six guests of honor to show their major cooperation projects with China.
