From the Editor – March 2018
  ·2018-03-10

Welcome to the March issue of Africa Travel and a brand new Year of Dog in Chinese astrology. In this issue we take you to three vastly different African destinations.

The Okavango Delta in Botswana is widely regarded as one of the most natural areas in the entire world, especially famous for its abundance of Africa’s unique wildlife. Wilderness Safaris has decades of experience in this region, having provided guests from all over the world with top notch accommodation and experiences for many years.

In this issue we look at their newly-rebuilt flagship camps, Mombo and Little Mombo, situated in the heart of the Delta. Whilst comprising the most appropriate and sustainable luxury required of such a leading destination, the new camps are rooted in an authentic bush-camp offering to ensure that the original Mombo experience is retained.

Having been to some of their Botswana camps, I can assure you Mombo promises to be the experience of a lifetime.

Also in this issue we chat to a very special man. As CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, Tewolde GebreMariam is credited by many for the remarkable African and global success story the airline has become.

We find out more about the man, his country and his airline.

And last but not least, we travel to Cape Town in South Africa and dig into the beautiful city’s French gourmand history with visits to some of its finest French restaurants.

So enjoy our March stories and until next time, bon voyage!
