| South Africans Killed in Afghan Bomb Attack | | | (September 18, Johannesburg) - The ongoing worldwide violence unleashed after the exposure of an online video ridiculing the Prophet Mohammed has now taken the lives of eight South Africans in Kabul Afghanistan on September 18. BBC reports said that the eight deceased had been at a petrol station refueling their truck when a suicide bomber drove his vehicle straight into the truck. According to the the International Herald Tribune the Afghan insurgent group Hezb-e-Islami claimed responsibility for the attack in retaliation for the video. South African international relations spokesperson Nelson Kgwete said the names of the deceased are known and that they worked for an aviation company operating in Afghanistan.
