China has helped train 102 South African technicians and officials in numerous fields within the framework of Forum of China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in 2013. In addition, 59 South Africans went to China for textile and special economic zone (SEZ) training courses tailor-made for South Africans upon the request of the SA's Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Robin Toli, chief director of National Treasury, expressed his gratitude for China's assistance to South Africa over the past decade and believes that the Bilateral Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations will witness further achievements.
