AuDITIONS South Africa gold design competition was established in 1999 by AngloGold Ashanti to encourage original and striking contemporary gold jewelry design. 

Since the inaugural AuDITIONS South Africa gold design competition, AngloGold Ashanti has encouraged excellence in South African gold jewelry design, assisted with skills development in the gold jewelry industry and contributed to the beneficiation of gold jewelry in this country. 

Around the world, AuDITIONS has helped discover, expose, develop and showcase progressive design and design talent in gold jewelry from Brazil, China and South Africa. 

The competition is focused on celebrating creativity while sharing knowledge and transferring skills. An awards ceremony will be held in Johannesburg later this year where the winners will be announced.
