To celebrate the upcoming Year of China in South Africa in 2015, the Chinese Embassy in South Africa recently launched a slogan and story competition. The slogan should reflect the expectations for the China Year in South Africa and encouragement for the growing China-South Africa friendship. The story should share the writer's experiences related to China or Chinese people, and the expectation of what lies ahead for China-South Africa friendship and cooperation. All participants have a chance to win a Hisense large screen LCD TV set or a Huawei smartphone. The competition deadline is Dec. 31, 2014.
