After one year's preparation, the Chinese Visa Application Service Center opened on March 17, 2015 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Located in the Sandton City Office Tower in upmarket well-equipped Sandton City business center, it enjoys good facilities and convenient transportation. Those who previously needed to apply for a visa at the Chinese Embassy in Pretoria or Consulate General of China in Johannesburg, can now apply for their visas at the center. The Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Johannesburg is the 41st of its kind in the world and the first in Africa. It is expected that the new Service Center will make visa applications and related services much faster and more convenient for those wishing to travel to China.
