Qiannan comes to Beijing
Share

It has practiced regional ethnic autonomy successfully for six decades and followed the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. And now, the Qiannan Bouyei-Miao Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China's Guizhou Province is ready to share its achievements with an exhibition that kicked off at the iconic Cultural Palace of Nationalities in Beijing on November 3.

Themed "Ecological and Happy Qiannan," the event comprises displays of photographs, graphics, videos, models, as well as performances, and will be on till November 9.

Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the people of all ethnic groups in Qiannan have unswervingly followed the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the system of regional ethnic autonomy, which is key to a better tomorrow, said Long Changchun, Secretary of the prefecture, at the opening ceremony.

Divided into four sections, the exhibition provides a basic introduction to Qinnan (at the lobby), its economic and social developments (Main Hall,) ecological tourism culture (West Hall,) and the products it is famous for (East Hall.)

During the exhibition, five TV interviews will be aired on Qiannan's key economic components such as tea, culture, ecology and health.
