Innovation Outline
China
An outline to boost innovation in China's cultural and technological sectors has been issued, the Ministry of Science and Technology said in September. According to the outline, by 2015, technology should play a more important role in the development of the country's cultural sector, as well as transform the cultural industry into an economic pillar. By 2020, the cultural and technological industries should achieve deeper integration and technological innovation should become a core value in cultural development, the outline said.
