➲ SIERRA LEONE_MAY: China's Shandong Iron & Steel has renegotiated the terms with African Minerals in Sierra Leone of Shandong's planned $1,5 billion investment in its flagship iron ore project in the west Africa country. Shandong will invest the amount for a 25% stake in the Tonkolili iron ore project

➲ CHAD_APRIL: The government of Chad and Chinese engineering firm CAMC have signed a $1billion agreement for the construction of a new international airport north of the capital N'Djamena. The new airport will have an ultra-modern terminal, and the project also includes the building of a 40 km motorway between the airport and the capital.

CAMEROON_MAY: China's Export-Import (Exim) Bank has granted Cameroon a loan of $542 million for the construction of the 210 MW Memve'ele hydropower dam on the Ntem River. The Memve'ele dam is expected to be completed within five years.

➲ DRC_APRIL: China Gold International has signed a memorandum of understanding with Banro Corporation of Canada for the negotiation of a joint venture to develop Banro's Twangiza property as well as Banro's other properties along the Twangiza-Namoya gold belt in the Democratic Republic of Congo

➲ ZAMBIA_MAY: Chinese auto manufacturing company Higer has announced plans to setup an assembly plant in Zambia to serve the southern African region.
