The Finland Pavilion, "Kirnu," is surrounded by a lake, which gives it the appearance of floating on water. The design draws inspiration from Finnish nature.

The Russia Pavilion
Russia's pavilion features 12 irregularly shaped towers in white, red and gold. Upon closer inspection, visitors will find that these towers form a circle taking after the configuration of a famous Russian dance.

The United Arab Emirates Pavilion
The United Arab Emirates Pavilion is in the shape of a gigantic golden sand dune inspired by the country's desert. Streams of water and forests inside the pavilion provide a great contrast to the sandy landscapes most visitors associate with the UAE.

The United Kingdom Pavilion
The centerpiece of the UK pavilion is a six-story-high object constructed with 60,000 slender transparent rods that extend from the structure and quiver in the breeze. It's no wonder the Chinese public nicknamed the British venue "Dandelion."

The Mexico Pavilion
The Mexico Pavilion features a "Kite Forest" filled with green grass and 130 brightly colored kites that glow like lanterns when illuminated at night. It's also the Expo's only venue with a main structure underground, in which visitors can explore the treasures of Mayan civilization.
