The rich and colorful cultural activities at the Shanghai World Expo are great to explore during this last month of the event's run. During the Expo's 180-day run, visitors have experienced more than 1,000 performances from over 200 countries. The Expo's African Joint Pavilion is a thriving place, with unique cultural shows that have been big hits, and traditional arts also showcased. Artists on site engage in stone carving, weaving and hair braiding, introducing visitors to a vivid, real Africa.July 27 was a memorable day for the African Joint Pavilion's exhibitors and its Chinese staff. That day the number of visitors peaked at 10 million.
