The 26-year-old Charl Schwartzel has become the third South African to win the U.S. Masters trophy [world's most prestigious golf contest]. Schwartzel clinched his first ever major title with a two-stroke victory. Slipping on the famous green winner's jacket, he said that the atmosphere played the biggest part in his success.

Honored Dancer

Yang Liping, a renowned dancer famous for her peacock dance, was nominated for the You Bring Charm to the World Award 2011. The award was established to recognize Chinese people's accomplishments around the world. Yang was born in southwest China's Yunnan Province in the Bai ethnic group. During past decades, Yang has brought her dance to more than 50 countries.
