Zhang Xiaogang, President of Anshan Iron and Steel Group Corp. (Ansteel), was elected chairman of the World Steel Association (Worldsteel) for a one-year term, at the association's 45th Annual Conference held in Paris. He is the first Chinese to take the helm of the global industry association.

Along the Path to Beauty
Regarded as the enfant de terrible in the South African art world, Beezy Bailey held a solo exhibition called Along the Path to Beauty in China to celebrate his 30 years of artistic career. The 80-piece exhibition was held in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei Province during November. Bailey said that his paintings and sculptures expressed his aspirations of freedom along with his religious and political views. |
