Retired Chairman
Wang Jianzhou, Chairman of China Mobile Communications Corp. (CMCC), China's largest mobile service provider, retired recently. Founded in 2000, the company currently has the world's largest mobile phone network. Under Wang's leadership, the total business income of CMCC increased from $30.5 billion in 2004 to $83.8 billion in 2011, with the number of the company's subscribers reaching 650 million in 2011, three times that in 2004.
