Wealthiest Woman

Wu Yajun, a 48-year-old property developer, was named China's wealthiest woman by the Hurun Rich Women List 2012, with a net worth of 38 billion yuan ($6.12 billion). She also ranked first on the Global Self-made Rich Women List. Publicity-shy Wu, a former journalist, is now chairwoman of the Beijing-based Longfor Properties Co. Ltd. She is focused on building a great company like Microsoft or Apple, that would benefit her shareholders, employees and the wider public.

Kenya Twins

A Kenyan mother has named her new-born twins after U.S. President Barack Obama and his Republican challenger Mitt Romney. Millicent Owuor, 20, gave birth to the twins in Kenya on the day Obama was re-elected. "I named the first twin Barack and the second one Mitt," said Owuor. She said she had named her twins after the winning and losing U.S. presidential candidates in order to remember the day of the vote, Kenya's Standard newspaper reported.
