Madagascar will participate in the fifth Ministerial Conference of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), a statement from Madagascar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday.
The delegation, who will present Madagascar to the FOCAC meeting scheduled in Beijing on July 19-20, will be composed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Pierrot Rajaonarivelo, Minister of Trade Olga Ramalason and four employees from two departments, the statement said.
The conference will be attended by foreign ministers and ministers for foreign economic cooperation from China and 50 African countries.
The FOCAC is a collective consultation and dialogue mechanism between China and African countries launched in 2000.
