Dalian University of Technology

Dalian University of Technology (DUT) was founded in 1949 and became one of the key universities in China in the 1960s.

Located in the beautiful coastal city of Dalian, in northeast China's Liaoning Province, it is the largest institution of higher education in the province in terms of student enrollment. DUT enjoys a good reputation in both engineering and science programs. It offers 60 undergraduate programs, 150 master's programs and 128 doctoral programs, and has set up 20 centers for post-doctoral studies.

The university enjoys a good reputation for its management and academic environment.The campus is green and peaceful with modern teaching and scientific research equipment. Since 1978, DUT has won almost 1,000 awards for its achievements in scientific and technological researches. It has trained more than 100,000 professionals in various fields, who are widely welcomed by the society.

DUT has been active in academic exchanges and cooperation both at home and abroad. It has signed academic agreements with 127 institutions of higher education and scientific research in over 20 countries and regions.

DUT is also among the universities authorized by Ministry of Education to enroll overseas students.The School of International Cultural Exchanges takes the responsibility for enrollment, education and management of international students. Currently students from over 20 countries and regions are studying here, learning Chinese or pursuing degrees.
